This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile application ("the Application") created and published by Home Suite Home.

What Information Does the Application Collect?

Information You Provide

When you use the Application, you may provide information including:

  • Pet names, species, breed, age, and photos

  • Veterinary records, medications, vaccines, and care notes

  • Scheduled care events and reminders

  • Documents and photos uploaded to pet profiles

  • Text or voice input entered through the Quick Add feature

In the future, the Application may also collect your name, email address, and profile photo to enhance your experience. If and when this occurs, this policy will be updated and you will be notified.

Information Collected Automatically

The Application may automatically collect certain information including the type of mobile device you use, your device's unique ID, your mobile operating system, the type of browser you use, and your IP address. This information is used to operate and improve the Application.

Does the Application Collect Location Information?

The Application does not collect your precise real-time location. However, when you search for veterinarians or other pet service providers, your search text is sent to the Google Places API to return relevant results. No GPS coordinates are used or stored.

Device Permissions

The Application may request access to the following device features:

  • Camera -- to photograph pets, documents, or records

  • Photo Library -- to select and upload existing photos or documents

  • Microphone -- to enable voice input in the Quick Add feature. Only the transcribed text of your speech is processed; raw audio is not stored or transmitted

  • Push Notifications -- to send care reminders and scheduled event alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings

Third-Party Services

The Application works with the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

  • Supabase -- used as the backend database. Pet data, uploaded photos, and documents are stored on Supabase servers

  • Anthropic -- transcribed text from the Quick Add feature is sent to Anthropic's API to classify and route care entries. No raw audio is transmitted

  • Google Places API -- search text for veterinarians and service providers is sent to Google to return location results

  • Expo / EAS -- used to build and deliver the Application

We do not sell your data. Information shared with third-party services is used solely to operate the Application.

Will My Information Be Shared?

Your information will not be shared with third parties except in the following circumstances:

  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process

  • When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others

  • With trusted service providers who work on our behalf and are bound by this privacy policy

  • In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets -- in which case you will be notified via email or a prominent notice within the Application

Sensitive Pet Health Data

The Application is designed to store pet health information including medications, vaccines, and veterinary records. We treat this information with care and limit access to authorized systems and personnel. This data is stored securely via Supabase and is never sold or shared beyond what is described in this policy.

The Application uses AI to help classify and organize care entries. While we work to ensure accuracy, AI-generated suggestions should not be treated as veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions regarding your pet.

Sharing Pet Profiles With Caregivers

The Application includes a Caregiver Portal that allows you to share your pet's profile and care information with other people such as sitters, groomers, or family members. You control who has access to this information. Home Suite Home is not responsible for how third parties use information you choose to share with them through this feature.

Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the Application. If you delete a pet profile or your account, associated data will be removed from active systems. Residual data may remain in secure backups for a limited period before being permanently deleted. To request deletion of your data, contact us at homesuitehome@gmail.com.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on servers operated by Supabase in the United States. If you reside outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there under United States privacy standards.

Your Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall process available on your device or through the app marketplace. You may also request data deletion by contacting us at homesuitehome@gmail.com.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting access to authorized personnel. However, no security system can guarantee against all potential breaches.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy at the Application's privacy policy URL. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
